GREAT DORSET STEAM FAIR

This shot and the four below were taken in the Heavy Haulage ring at the Great Dorset Steam Fair.         The all up weight was over 100 tons.   It was originally fitted with the Rover Meteorite petrol engine but has been re-engined with the  Rolls Royce Diesel.
The Antar Mk II, can also be used as a ballast tractor. Seen here with a dolly. The  Conqueror Armoured Rescue and Recovery vehicle  is fitted with a 45 ton winch. The rear end is a steerable bogie and was driven backwards round the ring for which the dolly can be locked in place. Mike Fincher's Antar brings up the rear on the downslope back to the Heavy Haulage Ring
